The Cars & Friends Season Closing marks the final drive of the year. One last opportunity to bring our community together before the season comes to an end. Starting at the new JB Restaurant at Arboretum Golf Center, we will set off together towards Dvorec Zemono, where an exceptional culinary experience hosted by Tomaž Kavčič awaits.
The afternoon will continue with our End-of-Year Awards Ceremony and an unforgettable Gala Party, with a DJ and live saxophone performance setting the tone for one final celebration together.

Its about the details
Our Season Closing begins at the new JB Restaurant at Arboretum Golf Center, where guests will gather from 11:00 for a relaxed welcome, drinks and the first moments of the day together.
At 12:30, we will start the engines and set off on the final official Cars & Friends drive of the 2026 season.
The journey to Dvorec Zemono will take approximately 90 minutes, combining open motorway sections with more engaging countryside roads and winding stretches on the way towards the Vipava Valley. More than simply a transfer between two locations, the drive is intended as one final shared moment on the road — a chance to enjoy the cars, the scenery and the atmosphere of the group before bringing another season of driving to a close.
We expect to arrive at Dvorec Zemono at approximately 14:30, where the character of the day will gradually shift from driving to dining, conversation and celebration.
From that moment on, Tomaž Kavčič and his team take over, welcoming us to a specially curated culinary experience in the unique setting of Zemono. The format will remain relaxed and social, allowing guests to move freely, enjoy the food and spend time together rather than follow the structure of a traditional seated dinner.
As the afternoon continues, music will become a central part of the atmosphere, with a DJ and live saxophone performance carrying the event into its evening celebration.
We will also take a moment to look back on the people, cars and memories that shaped the year during our End-of-Year Awards Ceremony, before bringing the season to a close with a dedicated Cars & Friends Gala Party.
